The Knicks REAL number 3?

Friday, October 23rd, 2009
GQsmooth asked:

I never wanted Starks to be traded out of New York he deserved to finish his career with the Knicks. After he retired i thought for sure the Knicks would retire his number not because of his numbers but because of the heart he displayed whenever he took the court. In my oppinion he is one of the greatest Knicks ever… Knicks should have retired his number..what do you think?

Who should the Knicks get rid of first, Marbury or Curry?

Friday, October 16th, 2009
??? asked:

Okay I know these two guys are killers for the Knicks. Marbury is declining and is not the player he was early in his career with the Wolves. I don’t think he deserves a chance. Curry is a good scorer for New York but is a weak rebounder and a big turnover machine. In my opinion, the Knicks need to get rid of both and try to get young players in their squad immediately. But some of you guys might disagree with me. But if it’s not both, I know one of these two needs to leave New York. So what do you guys think? Who should the Knicks get rid of more? I mean, if I had to choose one to stay (Marbury or Curry) i’d choose Curry despite his turnover issues and horrible rebounding abilities. Why? At least Curry can score and have some big nights (Inconsistency is also a big issue for Big Eddy) where as Marbury, he’s getting old and he’s a pain in the *** for the Knicks and the Knicks fans. He ***** and lacks leadership. He ruins his team’s chemistry on the court.

Does Isiah Thomas really deserve to be fired?

Thursday, October 8th, 2009
murphy asked:

Isiah tries to fire up the Knicks by using young players but nothing seems to spark. Larry Brown one of the best coaches couldn’t moivate the Knicks. I knowIsiah should stay in New York but Jim Dolan must go.

Why do people seriously think the Knicks are just an attractive team to play for as a Free Agent?

Tuesday, October 6th, 2009
King Of NJ(Dpt of the Interior) asked:

Yes they are in what people deem as the “best city in the world”. Im from New York and its not all its cracked up to be, infact it has some of the rudest people you will ever see.

But anyway the Knicks have been nothing but a joke the last few years. They’ve had 4 straight losing seasons in which they finished under .500 and their organization is still a dysfunctional laughingstock.

They’re whole team will be off the roster by 2010 and they will have Danilo Gallinari,Wilson Chandler,Eddy Curry, and Jared Jeffries on their roster.

Since when have people been dying to play with those 4 players?

The Knicks are trying to get rid of Lee and are liking on their way to another pathetic NBA lottery season.

If any of those big name free agents want to go to New York they can kiss their chances at winning an NBA title any time soon goodbye.

Who would want to go to the Knicks to rebuild again rather than go a place where they have a realistic chance to win?

What do you think of this Knicks D’Antoni theory?

Thursday, October 1st, 2009
Ryan G asked:

Some people think D’Antoni is crazy for taking the Knicks job here is why I think he made the best decision of his life.
1.D’Antoni will have two years the 2008-2009 and the 2009-2010 seasons to implement his kind of roster and his system, before Lebron James becomes a free agent in the summer of 2010.
2. Lebron James loves New York, and Madison Square Garden, what better city to be the King than New York City?
3. Lebron would be unstoppable in D’Antoni’s offense he could average 30 points 10 assists easy. He is the best open court fastbreak player in the NBA.
4. D’Antoni helps coach the USA olympic team a perfect time to talk up Lebron and get him thinking about the future.
5. Knicks have a good chance of getting either Derrick Rose, or Michael Beasley. Imagine Rose at point playing alongside James…or the beast Michael Beasley
6…What do you guys think about this (I am from Iowa so no New York Bias just a Theory)
